According to IRNA Media Monitoring Service, a member of the PLO Political Office, Abbas Jomah also added that the International Qods Day should be the day of fidelity towards Beit ul-Muqaddas, for the solidarity of the world Muslims, and for their collective attention to the plight of their Palestinian brethren under the boots of the racist Zionists.
He added, "Keeping alive the International Qods Day is true support for the Palestinian cause and supporting the resistance and braveries of the Muslim residents of that holy city against the occupiers who are trying to turn Jewish the entire Islamic and Christian signs and monuments in the internationally significant city."
