Intimidatie door Israel werkt niet meer, zegt Nasrallah

 

Met dit soort retoriek probeert Nasrallah de Israeli's op te jutten en op de stang te jagen. Ook maakt hij zijn ware intenties, die vreemd genoeg door vele 'verlichte geesten' in het westen worden ontkend, nog even duidelijk:

 

The Hezbollah leader stressed his organization's will to fight Israel and the United States. "Resistance forces will ultimately triumph. We will come out victorious and change the face of the region. The Israeli entity will disappear and American sovereignty over the world will vanish, and we will triumph. I appeal to all the international organizations to support us in order to achieve this victory," Nasrallah said.

 

Dat is dus wat anders dan alleen maar Libanon tegen een eventuele Israelische aanval te verdedigen. Hezbollah is uit op het veranderen van het 'aanzicht van de regio', de verdwijning van Israel en de Amerikaanse invloed. Over hoe die regio er dan uit zou moeten zien, kunnen we ons een voorstelling maken als je bedenkt dat Nasrallah's steun en zetbaas Achmadinejad is. Met 'legitiem verzet tegen de Israelische bezetting' heeft een en ander in ieder geval niets te maken.

Nasrallah: Israel lost its power of intimidation

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah accused Israel of trying to intimidate Lebanon with the threat of a new military offensive while addressing a conference in Beirut on Friday.

 

The conference, held under the patronage of the United Nations Educational Scientific Cultural Organization in Beirut (UNESCO), brought together Arab and international resistance organizations.
 

"Israel lost their power to intimidate during the second war with Lebanon," Nasrallah said. "They are trying to regain their power of intimidation by threatening a new military offensive against Lebanon and against Palestinians in Gaza."

Nasrallah also attacked the U.S., saying that the American and Israeli plan to change the face of the Middle East and the entire world failed after they didn't succeed in Lebanon and Gaza and also in Iraq and Afghanistan.

"The real danger to the world's resistance movements is the attempt to distort reality and to place the blame on the resistance groups' actions without allowing them to portray their perspective, thus ignoring the reality of the occupation and the siege, like the situation in occupied Palestine," said Nasrallah.
