Eid al-Adha, or Festival of Sacrifice, has just come to a close. With Thanksgiving and Hanukkah right around the corner, members of OneVoice across the globe are reflecting on all that has happened this year and beginning to make plans for 2011.
During this holiday season, we ask you and your family to bring OneVoice's Imagine 2018 campaign to your dinner table. Using social media, viral videos, innovative competitions, and community-driven events, OneVoice is inspiring Israelis and Palestinians to envision a future living side by side in peace and security. This Thanksgiving, let's change the conversation about Middle East peace, and talk about a future that Israelis, Palestinians, and people around the globe will be thankful for. OneVoice senior youth leaders Mohammad Asideh and Eliran Eyal, having just completed the International Education Program's speaking tour in Southern California, started the conversation and wish to share their reflections with you:
"On behalf of my colleagues at OneVoice Palestine, I'd like to wish all the families in America a very happy Thanksgiving. I am thankful that my life is full of good and love. Hopefully by next year, we, the Palestinian people, will be living in peace with our neighbors in our own state."
